Making restaurant reservations in the parks, especially those with character dining is difficult at best. But outside the parks and just a short journey to the resorts you can find lesser known, but equally satisfying places to enjoy a meal. Everyone runs to the Plaza Inn or Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel, but Continue Reading →

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival
It’s a foodie’s dream. Or it could be a gastric nightmare!
Why? Because there is so much great food and so little time (or room in the tummy) to travel this unique world experience and taste it all! We finally took the plunge to sample Disney’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival during a trip to Walt Disney World in October, and it was quite a treat!
Now in its 22nd year, this annual food festival provides Disney guests with an opportunity to taste the many flavors of the countries that line the World Showcase lagoon in EPCOT. For 2016, it runs every day from September 14th to November 14th.
Whether you crave mild or spicy, domestic or international, sweet or sour, wet or dry, hot or cold, a hungry traveler can find something to satisfy their cravings and even try something new, especially if you don’t have the means to travel abroad. Countries from Africa to Continue Reading →
Dining At Walt Disney World
Through all the crowds, screaming kids, long lines and decision-making and the other things that distract from a magical experience, there is one thing that we definitely look forward to at Walt Disney World:
The dining! The food! The atmosphere! We wish that there was a place we could say “don’t go there,” but so far we haven’t found it when it comes to our appetites.
We have had breakfast, lunch or dinner at Be Our Guest, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Fulton’s Crab House, The Hollywood Brown Derby, Boma – Flavors of Africa, Ohana, Liberty Tree Tavern, T-Rex, Yak & Yeti, The Crystal Palace, The Garden Grill, Hollywood & Vine, Rainforest Café, and San Angel Inn Restaurante. And to think, we have only just begun! So many Continue Reading →
Dining With A Princess
Ever wanted to have dinner with a princess? How about dining in her castle, with all its royal, opulent décor and really good food? We found out that it’s entirely possible at Walt Disney World. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner in Cinderella’s Castle. Upon entering the castle, Cinderella will greet you and you can have a picture taken with her in the foyer. Then, while your meal is being served, other Disney princesses will make a royal entrance to visit each table for a meet-and-greet, complete with a photo, if you like.
The advantage of the size of Cinderella’s castle in Walt Disney World is that it Continue Reading →
Club 33 Update
We were fortunate to have had the privilege to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary at Club 33 on May 19th. There have been a lot of changes since our last visit two years ago, following the remodeling that took place in 2014.
To start, the “secret” door Continue Reading →
Club 33
Behind the non-descript door that is next to this sign lies a secret of Disneyland. Many have never heard of it; some have visited; and even fewer are privileged to be a member. Located in New Orleans Square next to the Blue Bayou is the secret entrance to Club 33, a private Disney club and restaurant.
While we are not Continue Reading →
